Kalf Club Thermal Women’s Waist Tights

These winter tights are made from Italian-made, thermal Roubaix fabric. The material is brushed for softness on the inside and features a smooth finish on the outside to keep the weather at bay. Roubaix has a high thermal rating but also offers excellent breathability and flexibility, ensuring they keep you moving in comfort no matter how far you push yourself. The waistband on the tights has a high rise for support and extra insulation; and is compressive but soft to the feel.
The tights have an articulated fit, where seams and panels are positioned to prevent chafing for non-stop comfort. There are iridescent reflective chevrons on the lower calves for visibility and silicone grippers at the hem. The ankles also have durable YKK zips to make life easier before and after your ride.
The multi-density chamois pad insert is made by Elastic Interface for optimum comfort and control in the saddle.

About the pad

Engineered to meet the specific needs of the female anatomy, the Elastic Interface Club Women’s pad is the result of extensive anthropometric testing. Designed to protect and support the female anatomy, the perforated foam with varying densities balances in-saddle stability and freedom of movement. This makes for one comfortable pad, however far you plan to ride.

About Roubaix fabric

This fabric was originally developed from skiing and was used for a more insulating stretch fabric for harsh cycling conditions. Brushed on the inside for a soft, cosy feel, the breathability and insulating properties of this material are complemented by the way it is produced. The inner face is brushed for a fleece like finish, and the outside is tightly knitted and smooth.

About iridescent reflectivity

Kalf’s iridescent reflective trims and chevrons offer a really important function during the darker winter months, as well as a unique aesthetic: Positioned in areas where there is large rotation such as the wrists and calves, their reflective properties are maximised, helping drivers and other road users acknowledge you.
