Merino wool and synthetic fibres both have advantages and in this garment we’ve combined the best of each of them. Extending our use of merino wool in a performance blend, the Club Merino jersey uses a merino inner face knitted with a polyester outer face yarn that creates a moisture-wicking effect with fast drying properties. Providing warmth without overheating too easily and comfort against the skin whilst remaining drier than a pure merino garment, it’s the perfect material for fluctuating temperatures and exertion levels. Reflective details work in your favour during low light periods and the cut is designed for layering while remaining a close fit. This benchmark 3-seasons jersey is destined to become a central piece among our cooler-weather collection.
Wool is a natural fibre that has natural bacteria and odour control, as well as excellent temperature regulation. The combination of merino wool and polyester knitted into a two-sided structure gives Sportwool a higher level of breathability than pure merino wool, a natural elasticity and great shape retention. Sportwool also has a higher degree of moisture wicking, which works perfectly against post-exercise chill.
A stretchy fabric and a fit with room for layers underneath gives great comfort and a very flattering look.
